About Us

The Northeastern Regional Information Center’s (NERIC) Model Schools program facilitates a regional community for district staff to share best practices in instructional technology integration. Shared instructional technology integration workshops offered through Model Schools are designed exclusively for educators. NERIC staff and teachers in participating districts develop and conduct cooperative professional development workshops that enable the effective use of instructional technology in the classroom. Through these workshops, educators share and build upon their knowledge with others and around the region. Learning opportunities are delivered both in-person and via a series of different eLearning technologies. Program subscribers also have an opportunity to pilot new instructional technology tools shared within the Model Schools community.
